Animal Registrations

Council have issued the new Animal Registration Renewal Notices for the 2017/18 financial year.

These notices will be available in your mailbox.

Please advise Council if you no longer have an animal that is listed on the notice.


Council have introduced a new 3 Year Registration for Dogs (conditions as detailed below).

Conditions of 3 year registration

  • That the dog must be de-sexed and a copy of the Veterinary Surgeon’s Certificate must be provided
  • The dog must be microchipped and microchip number provided on the application form or a copy of the microchip certificate provided
  • If the dog dies within the 3 year registration period there will be NO REFUND, and, the remaining registration period CANNOT be transferred to another dog

3 Year Registration Fee

The fee for the 3 Year Registration is $81.60 for period from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2020.

This fee is cheaper than paying the “Annual Registration” for the next 3 years.


If you have a dog that meets the conditions and you wish to register it for 3 years, you will need to see Dalena McNamara at the Council Office.
